ABOUT THE BOOK

You might be curious about your power or the power that someone else has over you. You might want inspiration for growing your power and staying in power once you have it. Women think about all these things often—going from feeling disempowered to feeling incredibly powerful and then back again. It’s like being on a power see-saw.

Rising to Feminine Power explores women’s journeys to true feminine power in their work and life. Through stories told by women themselves, Dr Josephine Palermo explores how women unleash power, lose it, keep it and create magic with it. Most importantly, she probes what gets in the way and why.

Their stories are about how they experience power and disempowerment throughout their lives as leaders, mothers, grandmothers, wives, divorcees, sisters and other roles women play in their communities and industries.

Josephine brings a deep understanding of gender psychology to explore how women can use positive feminine lens to create and build collective power rather than individualistic power.

The world needs more women in positions of power so that we can solve some of the most complex problems the planet is facing. Josephine encourages us to take a stance, put our fists on our hips and channel Wonder Woman with the Lasso of Truth to understand and unveil all those things that have been hidden from us.
